Course Description: The confined space training will cover all aspects of OSHA compliance for Confined Space Entry, including atmospheric conditions and Permit Entry Criteria. Discussion will also include proper atmospheric testing equipment, proper PPE for Confined Space Entry, correct Permit Required Confined Space permit writing and Emergency Response and Recovery Procedures.

Trenching and Excavation will cover OSHA guidelines for the purpose of choosing Competent Persons for trenching and excavation projects, proper PPE, and traffic control near street excavations.

The Competent Person portion will discuss the Competent Person’s responsibilities including soil analysis, protective systems, designing structural ramps and monitoring water removal equipment.
